  182. INSTALL.EXE -- MORE DETAILED INFORMATION

  184.      The installation program will copy the PSA Cards files
  185.      to whatever directory you choose.  The installation
  186.      directory can be the same as directory for the
  187.      downloaded PSA Cards file.

  189.      After copying the Cards files to the installation
  190.      directory, the install program will create a program
  191.      group and program items in the Program Manager.  There
  192.      will be program items for PSA Cards, Cards Help, and 
  193.      this readme.txt file.

  195.      The OLE 2.0 dynamic libraries are supplied by Microsoft
  196.      for installation in systems running 16 bit versions of
  197.      Windows.  That is, Windows 3.1 and Windows 3.11
  198.      (Windows for Workgroups).  If you are running a 32 bit 
  199.      version of Windows, you should download or order the 
  200.      32 bit version of PSA Cards.
  201.      
  202.      If MICROSOFT OFFICE is running, it will probably prevent
  203.      the installation of the OLE files.  If there is a 
  204.      problem with copying the OLE files, shut down MS Office
  205.      and try the installation again.
  206.  
  207.      If this doesn't fix the problem, try shutting down and
  208.      restarting Windows.  Then restart the installation.  If
  209.      you already have the OLE 2.0 libraries, the install
  210.      program will compare library versions and will not
  211.      overwrite a newer library version with an older one.

  232. LOADING A DATA FILE ON STARTUP
  233.      
  234.      The installation program sets up PSA Cards to automatically 
  235.      open the file "sample.car" each time you double click on
  236.      the PSA Cards icon.  If you want to open a different file
  237.      on program startup, use the Program manager "Properties" 
  238.      command to change the Command Line entry.  The new data 
  239.      file name replaces "sample.car" after the program name
  240.      (cards.exe).  Be sure to leave a blank between the program 
  241.      name and the file name.

  245.      Complete registration instructions are in the on-line
  246.      Help.  Click "How to Register" in the PSA Cards Help menu.

  251.      If you use PSA Cards on a regular basis and find it
